The Full construction of the 40m by 20m outdoor arena in Claremorris was completed yesterday. the finished surface is a blend of washed and graded silica sand and polypropylene stabilizer fibre.
Horray a bit of rain for all those parched outdoor surfaces – If you don’t have a irrigation system in place and have been struggling to keep enough water on your surfaces. Make sure you take advantage of the wet weather and get any seperated fibres blended back into the sand and it should be as good as new again – ideally use a power harrow or stone burrier to get it in deep enough and don’t be in a rush, then roll it to finish to help keep the moisture in!
Equestrian Surfaces Ireland have secured the contract to supply our premier jumping surface Cushion Track in Fethard County Tipperary.
We will be removing the old riding surface installing a perimeter irrigation system, then resurfacing with Cushion Track.
We will keep you updated with pictures and posts as the arena works progress.
Equestrian Surfaces Ireland are proud to announce that we will be working closely with Emerald International Equestrian Centre over the coming months to manufacture and supply the arena footings for Five arenas, three outdoor and two indoor.
Please follow our blog as we will post new updates on this project as the arenas take shape.
