This project has developed from a single installation of Cushion Track Premier that was laid on Chris and Gwen Byrne`s indoor arena back in 2005 into probably one of the most unique Equestrian centres in Ireland it`s facility’s stretch now to a total of four outdoor all weather arenas one indoor and a grass arena that should be in use by late 2009.

Equestrian Surfaces Ireland are proud to have been able to help Chris and Gwen in the development of this facility with advice on construction methods through to surface requirements, from the outset Chris knew exactly what he wanted and being in the business of sports turf himself had a good knowledge of Synthetic All Weather Surfaces available in the market place.

After the continuing success of their indoor arena Chris and Gwen decided that the surface for all arenas that followed would use Cushion Track Premier there is now a total of over 3500 ton of Cushion Track Premier installed over 10'000.00 sqm and it is a credit to Chris and Gwen’s dedication and hard work that this centre is one of the top equestrian venues now in Ireland .

The Horse Show is a Dublin institution. A celebration of Ireland's affinity with the horse, from the best show horses to the best international show jumpers. It is one of Ireland's largest events, a highlight of the summer, each year welcoming tens of thousands of people from Ireland and all over the world.

Equestrian Surfaces Ireland where contacted back in 2005 to come up with a proposal for the replacement of the National Jumping Arena from grass to a All Weather Arena. Solutions had to be found for a temporary National Jumping Arena measuring 80m By 50m that could be lifted after the show was over and used as a car park this also had to incorporate a warm up arena measuring 40m by 20m.

Equestrian Surfaces won the contract to supply our Porta Track Grid drainage bed system and our Cushion Track Premier Jumping surface for the National Jumping Arena and the warm up arena.

We install and maintain both arenas during the show every year and since then we also use the same system in the clock tower arena and have also supplied Cushion Track Premier for the International warm up arena.

Kildalton is the largest agricultural college in the country. It is a leading provider of training in Equine Studies, Machinery, Agriculture and Horticulture. Close links have been developed with the local Institute of Technology in Waterford (WIT) to make it a progressive learning facility in the South East. Over 500 students are currently registered on courses at Kildalton College.

Equestrian Surfaces won the tender to resurface the outdoor arena at kildalton college in 2010.

The Arena measurses 58m by 35m and had a existing sand surface which over time had started to hold water and pan.

Equestrian Surfaces removed the old surface and disposed of the old membrane, we then put new drains throughout the base of the arena which was followed with our Premier membrane before re surfacing with Fibre Footing.

The Stewarts Hospital project is based on providing a facility for equestrian and day facilities particular to special needs.

Our team of professionals Layed our Cushion Track Premier Surface to a 6 inch depth ( Commercial Depth) on there indoor arena this was a particulary intresting project as the indoor had to meet certain standards, one of these was the arena base had to incorperste a radon barrier to stop the flow of radon gas into the arena which makes it the first of its kind in ireland. To provide the full equestrian experience Stewarts Hospital are including an outdoor Track Way around the facility.

The Mount Juliet Equestrian centre is one of the most impressive equestrian centres in the country. With two arenas including one International size arena, an American style barn, an exhilarating cross-country course, 18 miles of bridleways, a new set of show-jumps and a new stock of ponies and horses, Mount Juliet offers the rider the best possible experience in all types of riding.

Arenas The smaller equestrian arena at 26 x 43 metres and the larger International size arena at 30 x 60 metres both use advanced riding surfaces for improved performance. The equestrian team at Mount Juliet used the highest grade cushion track premier surface, similar to that used in the international warm up arena at the Royal Dublin Horse Show & Kill Equestrian Centre which are both international competition arenas. All these ingredients create a quality footing wholly sympathetic with the horse maximizing the experience for both horse and rider.

Equestrian surfaces won the contract to fully construct two arenas for Mount Juliet, both of these outdoors.

The All Weather Surface used was Cushion Track Premier.
